Discover the Hegro pumpkin harvester PH04

The Hegro PH04 is a trailed pumpkin harvester that combines efficient harvesting with careful manual sorting. As it moves, the machine lifts the entire plant, including the pumpkins. This takes much of the heavy physical work off your hands.

Efficient harvesting while preserving product quality

On the machine, the pumpkins are cut from the plant at a comfortable working height. Employees then manually place the pumpkins on a conveyor belt, which transports them to the crates.

This approach offers a key advantage: every pumpkin can be inspected right away before it goes into the crate. Leaves, plant debris and dirt can easily be removed. Pumpkins with rotten spots or damage can be sorted out immediately.

The plants, leaves and other crop residue are deposited back in the field behind the machine via a separate conveyor.

The result is a cleaner, carefully sorted product in the crate. This harvesting method can also help improve the quality of the harvested pumpkins during storage.

Less heavy work, more control

The Hegro PH04 takes over much of the heavy physical work, such as bending, picking up and transporting pumpkins. At the same time, staff retain control over product selection during harvesting.

This makes the PH04 an attractive choice for pumpkin growers looking to harvest efficiently while prioritising product quality and careful selection.
